Review #1

With restaurants, retail spaces, office buildings and residential quarters all within steps of each other, mixed-use developments are an up-and-coming trend in the Triangle. And for this reason, some of the more interesting eateries are opening in these spaces. One such place is Nosh. Serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner in an open and eclectic caf environment, Nosh not only caters to those living and working in Erwin Terrace, but also to those at nearby Duke University. Breakfast here means a bounty of biscuits, bagels, smoothies, and egg dishes like Maggies Scramble with caramelized onions, portobellos, asiago cheese and topped with a roasted red pepper sauce. Lunch and dinner is also casual meaning sandwiches, burgers, pizzas and salads. For a yummy bite, try The deLuca a panini with turkey, ham, havarti and Russian dressing. Choice of sides includes standards like potato salad, as well as more exotic choices like curried couscous. Just in the mood for something sweet? Opt for the blueberry cobbler and peanut and banana milkshake.
